Vintage is so hot right now, and the are taking full advantage by bringing back the oldies, and goodies, for their 50th NHL season.
The club announced a three jersey collection aimed at celebrating their history and incorporating a more modern looknhl kane jersey. The reimagined jerseys “symbolize a connection to a city that is as vibrant and diverse as our jersey collection”.
The Black Skate jersey was chosen by a public vote, and will only be worn on three nights during for the 2019-2020 season. They were a primary jersey during the team’s Stanley Cup Final appearance in 1994, and were last worn during the 1996-1997 season.

The Canucks will also rewind back to the Heritage jerseys with the iconic hockey stick logo that was worn from 1970-78. The team will sport this variation for 10 games this upcoming season.
The remaining games will see a jersey with an updated logo sans Vancouver name, leaving a simplistic orca logo instead as an ode to being “British Columbia’s team”.
It’s pretty fair to say that Vancouver will be making a killing in the merchandise departmentnhl jersey hanger. You can pre-order all the jerseys for September 16th.
